I am lucky enough to get to attend the Atlantic Hockey Semi-Finals tomorrow in Rochester, NY. The early game features RIT v. Canisius (Daisies). The later game is Air Force v. Sacred Heart. My first question is why is the de facto host team (RIT) playing in the early game at 4:00 and two out of town teams playing at 7:00? Is it because Air Force travels on game day??? I can't believe that is true. I am sure all the teams are in Rochester right now. So why wouldn't Atlantic Hockey put RIT in the night game? This makes no sense, unless they think that people will stay downtown after work and head on over to the Blue Cross to see the 4:00PM game. I have to question their judgment there. Regardless, should see some good hockey and RIT will almost assuredly smoke the Daisies, which is always nice to see.
Go Eagles!
